Although the educational institutions are mostly closed and you will not be travelling a lot, our service (and costs) did not ended due to Corona.

We continue to give you the service that you expect from us:

  1. Our customer service is open from 08.00 till 20.00hrs. In times like these information is important, and we decided to invest into this by maintaining our normal opening hours.

  2. You can still travel using your mobility card. Public transport can be a bare necessity in which we will keep providing.

  3. The 15% NS discount you receive during off-peak hours remain intact.

Customized application with international payment methods

Since you are new in the Netherlands and probably don't speak Dutch nor have a Dutch bank account, we made a customized application process for international students with international payment methods. 
Furthermore, you can find step-by-step instructions on traveling in the Netherlands on our website and our English speaking customer service is ready to answer your questions. 

Early access to public transport and shared bikes

The ISIC Mobility card provides seamless access to all public transport in the Netherlands. It takes all the hassle away so that you can jump from train to tram to bus and on a bike, just like the locals do. After you collected your ISIC Mobility card and completed the registration process in the ISIC Mobility app you never have to upload money onto the pass. Therefore you never have to worry about the balance on your card or miss a train because of insufficient balance.

Student discount

Discounts make your student live better! With the ISIC Mobility card you receive a 15 % discount during weekends and off-peak hours on weekdays at the trains of the Dutch Railways (NS; Nederlandse Spoorwegen). Furthermore, next to the travel card you receive a digital ISIC student ID. This membership is valid for 12 months and gives you access to the biggest network of global student benefits worldwide.

Order the combined offer here. Up front you will pay a onetime purchase price of € 15,- for the ISIC student ID and Mobility card. Monthly we will charge you for your travel costs and a subscription fee of € 4,50. During the month you can monitor your travel history and costs in the ISIC Mobility app. 

In case you are wondering, three frequent asked questions:

 

1. What are the products of the combined offer?

The two products and apps:

  • ISIC Student ID; a digital card for all students enrolled at an accredited school, college or university and aged 12 or over. The digital ISIC student ID is available in the ISIC app. ISIC is a worldwide accepted proof of bona fide student status. This ID verifies your student status and provides access to the biggest student discount network in the world.

  • ISIC Mobility card; a travel card for all public transport in the Netherlands. With this card you check-in and out every time you use a mode of public transport. In the ISIC Mobility app you can monitor your travel history, costs and monthly bills.

2. Where and when do I receive discount on travel costs?

The discount is appicable for trains of Dutch railways, or Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). NS is the main train company in the Netherlands covering almost the entire country. The discount of 15 % during off-peak hours which are;

  • During the entire weekend; between Friday 6:30 PM and Monday 6:30 AM

  • Monday to Friday; between 9 AM and 4 PM and between 6:30 PM and 6:30 AM

3. Why do I pay a monthly subscription fee?

The subscription fee is a fee for the advantages you receive. For example, the discount at NS trains, English speaking customer service, the postponed payment of travel costs and ceditc card as a payment method.
